Takoma Park Police Warn Residents Of Driveway Repair Scam

Takoma Park Patch - 8/31/2018 - Cameron Luttrell - The Takoma Park Police Department is warning people of a driveway repair scam after a resident lost money in the scam. Police met with the victim on Wednesday. "In the driveway scam, homeowners are advised that their driveway is in need of seal coating," a police statement said. "After an exchange of funds, the driveway is either painted black or coated with roofing oil, which does not protect your driveway.
