Summer senior scams

Tribune Chronicle - 6/30/2017 - Don Hyde - Summer is finally here. Time to go outside, go on a nice vacation, play with the grandkids, relax and enjoy the weather. But beware, this is also the time for the summer scammers. These people that are not taking a vacation but are looking for that easy buck by preying on seniors. Along with the rise in the temperature, scams against seniors seem to rise in the summertime.
As mentioned in past articles, scammers pick out the seniors because they believe they are an easy source of cash. Seniors often are trusting and too polite to hang up the phone or close the door on an in-person solicitation. Read more @ http://www.tribtoday.com/life/lifecover ... ior-scams/
