Consumer Reports won't recommend any Dyson stick vacs

Komo News - 2/10/2019 - Herbert Weisbaum - Consumer Reports has pulled all Dyson stick vacuums from its recommended list because of reliability problems. A survey of its members shows Dyson stick vacuums break at a higher rate than any other brand the magazine tested. Consumer Reports estimates that within five years nearly half of all Dyson stick vacuums will break or stop working as they should. By comparison about a quarter of the stick vacuums from Shark, the most reliable brand for this type of vacuum, break within five years.
